Greetings from Washington

The Greetings From Washington stamp features the Seattle skyline, including the 605-foot tall Space Needle that was built for the Seattle World’s Fair in 1962. The World’s Fair celebrated “Century 21,” and the Space Needle symbolized city buildings of the future. Also shown are Mount Rainier in the background and a red Washington state apple in the foreground.
